    Dr Laura Carrascosa

 

Laura has 20+ years of professional experience in Australian and European health research sector in academic, engagement, business development and consumer representative roles.  She has significant track record in building government-industry-university linkages and attracting significant funding to drive innovation. Her most recent role was the Associate Director Health and Biomedical Enterprise, Research Partnerships (formerly known as Innovation Broker) –UQ Research and Innovation. Prior to this, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Centre for Personalised Nanomedicine (AIBN, UQ, Frazer Institute Translational Research Institute (TRI) as Research Development Manager and Research Engagement Officer at Mater Research.

Laura holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, Belgium under ERASMUM.
